PARA COMER ~ FOOD FOR THE SOUL

 We read from Genesis to Revelation God has initiated every part of His work throughout history. Instead of carrying out His mission on His own, God chooses to accomplish His mission in a very personal way. The Lord chooses to involve you and me in His mission, to accomplish His work. What a responsibility, what a stewardship, and what a privilege. I mean, look at God's heart for the world, "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." II Peter 3:9

 Wow, God has never been willing that any should perish! What a global purpose, what a mission, passed on to us believers! This was also the mission of the early church, Jesus gave them the strategic plan for reaching the world and the geographical scheme has not chanced since, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

 We are to go to our Jerusalem - our neighbors, Judea – areas nearby, Samaria - the culturally neglected, and the ends of the earth - the Nations!

PARA LLEVAR - IMPACT YOUR WORLD           

 What are ways you can GO?:

 * Your Neighbors: Most everyone has 3 – 5 minutes to hear a personal story! This may be the week your friends come to know Jesus – Be intentional about sharing how you came to know Christ (your personal testimony) Never written one? Check out the attached article that walks you through writing a short 3-5 minute story about how you came to know Jesus to powerfully share with others. 

 * Areas Nearby: Ask God to give you some opportunities to reach out to the campuses near your area. There may be no one there that is intentionally bringing the Gospel to those students. You or your group may be the closest ones thinking about them. It could be as easy as putting up some posters that direct them to an evangelistic website. Posters: www.Destinomovement.com   Evangelistic website: www.MyDestino.com  - God may have some other great ideas and ways He would like to use you to reach those in your surrounding area. Ask Him.

 * The culturally neglected: Are there people groups you tend to avoid? God always wants to do a work in our hearts in this area. As you spend time with the Lord, ask Him where He needs to do a work in you. Who are those you tend to avoid and trust Him to take some steps and show love. We have been given so much in Christ!

* The Nations: Go to the Nations! Begin thinking about investing your summer to serve the Lord in another country. http://summerprojects.campuscrusadeforchrist.com/  Start this process early! – You will not regret investing a summer in another country serving the Lord and bringing His Gospel to others.
