PARA COMER ~ FOOD FOR THE SOUL
War on Campus
II Corinthians 4:4, "The god
of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they
cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is
the image of God." (NIV)
Exactly how does Satan blind
people's minds? Does he possess some mystical spiritual power that
he pours like a potion into people's heads to dull their
understanding? Does he short-circuiting their rational thinking
processes? No, Satan blinds people's minds by supplying them with
lies to believe.
As the semester starts, the
battle begins! Satan feeds
lies into those that don't know Christ. Lies like, there is no
God, reincarnation, there is no hell, or good works will get you
into heaven. Satan keeps them blinded through lies. If, however,
someone presents the truth and the hearers humble themselves and
believe, Satan will be able to blind them no longer.
So are you ready to fight? Did you
know God wants you on the college campus for battle? Here are the
combat orders, Acts 26:18, "I am sending you to them, to open
their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the
power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of
sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in
me." (NIV)
