Take a minute to
feed your soul and impact your world!
Toma un minuto para alimentar tu alma e impactar tu mundo! Part
1: Para Comer ~ Food for the soul PARA COMER ~ FOOD FOR THE SOUL The cabin boy tells the captain, "Sir, headquarters reports 12 enemy ships on the horizon and approaching." The captain tells the cabin boy to bring him his red shirt. The cabin boy asks why and the captain tells him, "If I get wounded, the crew won't know and won't lose their fighting spirit." The cabin boy leaves and returns shortly and tells the captain, "Captain, headquarters now reports over 600 enemy ships headed our way." The captain replies, "Hand me my brown pants". Perhaps fear is the number one reason today why we don’t reach out to those that are different than us. Let’s be honest it takes courage to go beyond your cultural comfort zones. Fear is perhaps the only thing holding us back from sharing our faith. But as Christians we are called to be courageous, to allow faith to lead us and not fear. God delights in those who are courageous but to those who are cowardly… Joshua 1:9, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Pastor
Alex Garcia PARA LLEVAR – IMPACT YOUR WORLD
One example: If you aren’t already involved, join a Latin group, organization, club on campus. Try to reach that group for Christ through building relationships. Share what God has done in your life. Get to know others who don’t know Christ in that group and trust the Lord to use you in the power of the Holy Spirit to go beyond your fears. Destino Coaching Center See also: www.MyDestino.com |
