Who - Graciela 05The intention of my paintings is the expression of my feeling I have towards God. I want to show the audience a little glimpse of who God is or teach them about some attribute God has. My main goal is to get the attention of the viewer and respond to it. God forms a huge aspect of my life. My passion is Him, His loving kindness and mercy compels me to give everything to Him. My artistic expression of the visual interpretation that I get from Bible verses are inspired from Him by Him and to Him. I feel that my paintings intrigue my audience since I use many colors and somewhat aggressive in their usage making them wonder what is it about giving me a chance to share God's love with them.

My paintings are inspired mainly from my quiet times. I get sometimes inspired from a song that really touches me or something that God is teaching me in that period of time. want to share with others as well what God has been teaching me lately. First is that believers need to encourage each other to walk with God. I was away for two weeks thinking that I was better off alone than with people who weren't really helping me to grow in myDo Not Be Anxious - Graciela 05 relationship with God. God showed me that I wasn't doing right and he gave me the verse where it says: Encourage one another daily as long as it is called today.  So I wanted to represent encouragement in some way. The paintings, at the same time help me to think through and understand what God is really telling me.

Another painting I have called "be still" is about Him being in control of my future.  I was getting very anxious of the future.  I did not know what to do after graduation and still do not know what to do but he is been telling me to have faith and wait in Him.  I wanted to represent faith with a chair being still and wait have patience but at the same time the chair is a good illustration of how faith works.

Holiness - Graciela 05 When we see a chair we don't doubt that if we sit on it will hold us or not.  Fearlessly, we just go and sit.  That's the way God wants us to be with Him really trusting Him in every aspect of our lives.  Other paintings are about how we have the hope that one day we'll see God face to face. The other one is How he has loved us with everlasting love that he has shown us mercy. The other one is about how I can't stop talking about him even if I wanted to I can't because his love is so great that I can't be quiet. Yet another is about how it is ok to cry because Jesus can relate to you because He has felt everything we can feel.  He  can sympathize with you in every situation you are in because while here he cried and weep for us.

Really it is all about my passion for God and eternal things like is His word and his creation. I want to let everybody know how awesome God is and how many promises he has stored for us in heaven if we know Him and love him. Like I said before I want to show a small glimpse of the love of God. And hopefully help others to get to know God better or at least be interested in having a personal relationship with Him.

I would like to know more about God.
